Cody Barron

I am the Color Guard Coach at Dundee Middle School, which is how I was introduced to Eric and Allegiance. I started as a tech for Allegiance’s summer programs, then became the A Guard Director, and then I was the Junior Cadet’s Director. I am excited for my newest role as Secretary on the Board of Directors!
Midwest Entrepreneur, Advocate, and Arts Supporter
Born and raised in the heart of the Midwest, Cody Barron is a passionate entrepreneur and advocate with a deep-rooted commitment to community and the performing arts. From 1994 to 2001, Cody was a dedicated member of the drum corps world, an experience that not only shaped his discipline and drive but also introduced him to lifelong friendships—including his best friend, Ryan.
Through Ryan, Cody was introduced to Allegiance. Deeply inspired by their mission and the impact they have on youth, Cody made the decision to support Allegiance by sponsoring the organization through his insurance and financial services company.
Today, Cody brings the same integrity, loyalty, and passion he learned in drum corps to his work in the financial sector, all while continuing to give back to the organizations that helped shape his own journey. His story is a testament to the power of friendship, community, and the importance of paying it forward.
Kirsten Miller
Kirsten resides in Gilberts, Illinois with her husband Tim and family. She has been with Allegiance since the 2012 and over the years has been in a myriad of roles, such as, parent volunteer, fundraiser manager, social media coordinator, instructor, A Guard Director and Open Guard Director. In August of 2022, Kirsten eagerly accepted the role of Executive Director.
Kirsten has been very involved with the marching arts - drum corps, winter guard and marching band as a performer, instructor, technician, director and volunteer for many years. Kirsten began her color guard career in Florida with Lake Howell HS Silver Regiment as a freshman and continued all 4 years of high school. She also marched with Imagination Winter Guard and Suncoast Sound Drum & Bugle Corps. Kirsten’s husband, Tim, is a Cavalier alumnus; son, Chris, is a Trooper’s alumnus; and daughter, Elizabeth, is a Legends, Colts and Allegiance alumna. You can say this is a family dedicated to the performing arts who are all also very supportive of Allegiance Color Guard.
