Teresa started her winter guard career in 1992 marching with Montage Winter Guard, Tapestry Winter Guard and the Buccaneers (1999 WGI silver medalist).
After aging out of the activity in 2002, Teresa quickly transitioned to a teaching role with WGI-finalist Evolution Youth Organization. By 2004, she was awarded a Co-Director position while retaining her design role for the cadet program and instructing the A and Open class programs.
In 2011, Teresa relocated to Greenville, SC and took a few years off of guard only to realize that she missed the activity terribly! She quickly found a home at Easley High School and became the Color Guard Director growing the program into a nationally competitive WGI finalist.
In early 2021, Teresa moved back to the midwest and currently works as the Creative Director for tech company. Teresa lives with her husband, Chris, and their dog Raelyn in Chicago. Teresa is super excited to be a part of the Allegiance family!
Kasia began her color guard career after attending her first BOA Grand Nationals performance in 2000. From that moment on, she knew she wanted to spin. She began performing with the Cadets of Independence in 2008 and advanced through the Independence program until 2012. She continued her color guard experience in high school with Marian Catholic and the Colt Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps.
During a brief hiatus from color guard after high school, she knew she wanted to perform again. In 2018 she attended an Allegiance spin clinic and knew she had found her home. She marched the 2019 season “Frost” and was a part of Allegiance history. Making WGI Open Class finals for the first time is an experience she will never forget. After the “Frost” season, she knew her time with Allegiance was not finished. In 2022, she began teaching with the Junior Cadets of Allegiance and Allegiance A. Her love for color guard continues to shine through her teaching as she works with the members of Allegiance. Kasia is excited to take on the role of Allegiance A Guard Director.
Kasia now resides in Orland Park with her two cats, Holden and Winchester, and her two dogs, Oli and Guiness. She works as a Certified Medical Assistant with an Orthopedic office while pursuing her degree in nursing.
Andy Toth
For over 30 years, Andy has participated in the marching arts as a performer, choreographer, designer, judge and consultant. During the winter, he works with Pride of Cincinnati and Carmel High School winter guards, among others, and has been a member of the WGI Steering Committee since 2016.
In 1999, Andy had the honor of performing as an original cast member of the Emmy and Tony award-winning production of Blast! in London’s West End. He continued his role on Broadway in New York City until the show’s closure in 2001.
Rebecca Aguilar
Becca began her color guard journey with Allegiance in the summer of 2011 and called us home for a whopping 10 seasons, ending her indoor career in 2023 with Mayflower World.
In 2018, she transitioned her love of the performing arts to the field with Colts, eventually aging out of the Blue Stars in 2022 as guard captain.
In 2023, Becca transitioned to a new role within the Allegiance family and returned as a staff member. Becca has also taught Plainfield Winter Guard and Jacob’s High School Marching Band.
She recently graduated with Honors from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders for Speech-Language Pathology and double minors in French and Rehab Counseling.
Michael Bailey
Michael “Star” Bailey is thrilled to be joining the staff at Allegiance, bringing his dance and theatre background to the youth of the competitive floor once more. A west coast native, Michael began his training in the Portland, OR metropolitan - beginning with NW Children’s Theatre, and continued acting through high school, where color guard was introduced in the form of an available role for the Westview High School Marching Band field show: the title character in The Phantom of the Opera (‘97).
That led to joining the Every-Body “A” class winter guard (‘98), Northern Lights Summer Youth Band (‘98), and the Oregon Crusaders winter guard (‘03). Finally, joining Northern Lights World in 2004 (Road to Perdition, Silver Medalist), and returning in 2006 (Meditation: In Memory of John Lennon, Bronze Medalist), the decision was made to relocate and study dance at Columbia College Chicago.
Graduating with a B.A. in Performing Arts Management, with a dance minor, allowed him to further hone his technical skills dancing every day ranging from ballet to contact improv and more! After which, Michael made his professional theatre debut in Miss Saigon (Paramount, Aurora, IL) with his rifle skills highlighted in the production. Last seen on stage spinning with superstar drag queen Latrice Royal, during the A Drag Queen Christmas Tour in Chicago, he is also currently the movement instructor for Naperville Central High School’s color guard program. Outside of rehearsal he spends time caring for his Great Danes with his husband in the SW Chicagoland area.
Michael Henning
Michael started as a mellophone player in the Normal High School marching band. In his junior year, he decided that he wanted to join the color guard instead. He continued participating in the guard for his junior snd senior year.
Michael began his winter guard journey in 2019 with Allegiance Open and continued to perform with us for our 2022 season. In summer of 2022, he performed with the Blue Stars Drun & Bugle Corps for his DCI age-out season. Most recently, Michael went on to perform with Onyx (WGI, IW) before returning to his roots to teach with Allegiance.
Michael also spent time teaching with many high school programs throughout Illinois and Kentucky including LaSalle-Peru Winter Guard, Plainfield Winter Guard and most recently Highlands High School marching band.
Michael has an associates degree in Applied Science and is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Media Arts Studies at the University of Kentucky.

Jillian Snyder
Jillian began her color guard career in 2010 when she attended a high school band program step-up night and realized she couldn't join the marching band as a bassoon player. She went on to perform all four years with her high school's color guard instead. She joined Allegiance for their 2017 season where they earned the Bronze medal in Independent A class. Jillian returned for the 2018 season, the first season that Allegiance competed in Open class. A career flag, she retired from performing when that season concluded.
Jillian began her teaching career in 2017, and has taught with several organizations in Illinois. Most notably, she spent four years at Downers Grove South (DGS) high school, three of which she was the Assistant Director. Jillian joined the Allegiance A staff for their 2024 season and is excited to be back with the team that reignited her love of color guard.
Jillian resides in Downers Grove with her husband Brad, a Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps alum, whom she met while teaching marching band together at DGS. Jillian works as a digital communications specialist for a healthcare company and enjoys quilting in her spare time.
