NASCAR Chicago Street Race

Allegiance will be performing at the Opening Ceremony for the highly anticipated 2023 NASCAR Chicago Street Race. This will be widely televised and professionally choreographed by two-time Emmy winner Tabitha D'umo from So You Think You Can Dance. The production company that we are working with has produced the Superbowl Halftime Shows for the last decade and worked with numerous high-profile artists.

Who can participate? Allegiance members and alumni (and even staff!) are welcomed to fill out the registration form. Participants must be at least 14 years of age.

What time will the performance be on Sunday, July 2? Call time will be noon (transportation pick-up time & location is TBD). Performance time is at 3:00 pm.

What time will we be done on Sunday, July 2? We will be done with the performance at 4:00pm with the goal of loading the bus and leaving the area by 4:30pm.

How much will it cost me? Nothing! Plus you'll have transportation, lunch and snacks provided for both the rehearsal day (Friday) and the performance day (Sunday). You'll get to keep your shirt and have the experience of a lifetime!

What will we be spinning? We will be spinning 6' flags with new, custom silks printed just for this event.

What will we be wearing? Black leggings and a custom printed top (you get to keep).

What if I can't make the scheduled Friday rehearsal? Unfortunately, the rehearsal in mandatory with absolutely no exceptions. If you cannot make the rehearsal, you will be unable to participate.

How will transportation work? We will be scheduling a bus pickup and drop-off somewhere in the Dundee area. If you live in or near the city, you *could* take a train to Grant park (must be pre-approved). The traffic and parking will be crazy, so we don't want to have everyone car-pooling and/or driving to the site.

This is not a contract of commitment, but we are being proactive having interested individuals sign a waiver at the bottom of this form. Those that are minors may be asked to submit additional paperwork to participate.

PLEASE NOTE: Only performers 14 years of age and older are allowed to participate. 

Upon submission, we may contact you to screen your abilities in order to participate. Performers must be able to, at a minimum, perform select basic skills such as drop spins, cones, tosses (including 45), etc.

Release & Waiver

WAIVER, RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
Parent or Guardian must sign if participant is under 17 or younger.

I/We hereby give permission for participant listed above to participate in Allegiance Color Guard events. I/We understand that Allegiance and their respective officers, directors, agents and employees (including any other organizations and businesses involved in the NASCAR production and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents) shall not be, nor later become, liable or responsible in any way in conjunction with services, for any injury, damage, delay, irregularity or death which may occur while participating in any Allegiance event (the “Event”).

In case of emergency, I/we hereby give my consent for a qualified medical professional to perform any procedures they deem necessary to the welfare of the participant while participating in the Event. It is understood that Allegiance and personnel will make every attempt to contact parents, guardians or relatives listed above prior to taking any such actions, but in the event that they cannot be reached for an emergency, I/we hereby give permission to the medical professional selected by Allegiance to secure and administer such treatment(s) as may be necessary, including hospitalization, while attending the Event. The undersigned does hereby assume and agree to pay any fees associated for such service, for an ambulance or any other emergency transportation that may be needed.

I/We hereby irrevocably grant to Allegiance and their respective agents, licensees and assigns, the right to use in any and all media and in any and all forms this participant's name, likeness, photographic prints and any reproduction of his or her sounds, performance or appearance while attending the Event, for any purpose including promotion, advertising or otherwise. I/We understand I/we will not be paid any royalty or other compensation.

I/We the undersigned understand that Allegiance is a drug-free organization. Possession or use of any unlawful substances (per Illinois law), tobacco & alcohol usage on while attending the Event is not allowed.

Allegiance will be following the CDC Guidelines for COVID-19 protocols at the time of the Event, which may include wearing masks at all times and/or social distancing.

I/We have read and fully understand this waiver, agree to its terms, and my/the signature is required to participate in any activity sponsored by Allegiance Color Guard.
